Preamble
This autonomous organization is a non-profit association formed April 5, 1952 for the purpose of promoting and encouraging the development of the breeding of purebred Belgian horses in the Province of Ontario, Canada. To this end our specific objectives are:
Promote and encourage fellowship among Belgian enthusiasts.
Encourage the exhibiting of Belgian horses in competitions and educational displays.
Assist where possible Agricultural Societies, Exhibitions or other special events where the Belgian Horse owner and breeder may receive recognition and support
Provide membership with information regarding the Association through newsletters, or any media available such as recognized horse publications.
Provide membership and interested individuals with opportunity to learn the characteristics, purpose, care and exhibiting of the Belgian breed with field days, judging schools, 4H draft clubs, seminars and printed or video material.
Co-operate with the Canadian Belgian Horse Association, and with other associations in the promotion of the draft horse industry.
